chopped

July 05, 2015

Getting the chop is no longer just reserved as a post-breakup remedy. Many ‘brave’ souls (and I use that term very loosely) have now opted for a shorter cut. So much so that Vogue has declared that the long bob is indeed on its way out. I can tell you now that my choice in haircut was certainly not dictated by the derailment of my love life or starting afresh. It’s simply because long hair was too much trouble for what it was worth. I might also add that super long hair just simply did not work for my height or frame.

Over the last several months, I have gone to Oscar Oscar in Paddington to sort out my hair woes. I knew I wanted it short – just didn’t know how short. I’ve put all of my trust into Zoia (she's amazing!) to slowly transition to a shorter style and know it’s finally where I want it to be, My hair is the shortest it has ever been and with a bit of texture added in I have finally found the style that works for my hair type and lifestyle.

Don’t expect me to have super long hair anytime soon.

  2. Looks gorgeous! I have been thinking of doing the same but I'm scared. My recent 'brave' hair cut was some feathering around my face.
